it's relatively similar to "Gapper" as well, which is a Reds mascot. even the name is very similar.
Gapper was actually designed by the guy who originally portrayed the philly phanatic

In the dreadful era of the late 70s, the Braves management introduced to their tens of loyal fans (of which number included my entire family) this pathetic furball:
They even had a contest to name the abomination, the winning entry being "Bleacher Creature" - similar, but not nearly as appropriate as my dad's suggestion: Cellar Dweller
