The reason the Big 3 in Boston isn't looked in the same light is because Garnett, Allen and Pierce were seasoned vets who had won numerous awards (in particular Garnett).
Lebron's not exactly a rookie and has accomplished everything other than a ring.

bosh would be missed if they were forced to play w/o him. he is underappreciated

False, Lebron is yet to win over the retards, but I do hate the fact that he poses a huge, consistent threat to beat my favorite team.

Yes, and I don't remotely see what's wrong with that. Lebron didn't have the easy route handed to him on a silver platter like the likes of Magic/Kobe/Bird(in no means am I devaluing them, just pointing out the teammates they were fortunate enough to play with.) He had to go out and seek his team, big deal.
Isn't the idea to put yourself in the best position to win as much? This notion that Lebron should do it in the most difficult way possible is so odd, I don't think I'll ever understand it really.
Choosing not to stay home, knowing he'll be hated by his hometown for doing so, all to try and maximize his winning capability, and yet it's a bad thing when he does it?
And also, the funny thing, most haters who used the "easy route, so it's tainted" argument left that argument behind because of the Heat's regular season struggles at times, the vast majority of haters have at some point in the season said there is no way the Heat will win a title. I'm sure they'll still try make that argument, but it's completely contradictory at this point.

Bulls/Heat could be an epic series if the Bulls can play like they did tonight against Atlanta.

Should be just a defensive battle, can't wait.
I'm thinking Heat in 6, but wouldn't be surprised in the least if the Bulls win in 6 or so. I just think the Heat's big 2+ Bosh will be enough offense to beat a better Bulls defense, while I'm not sure how much offense the Bulls can get for a 7 game series.
Funny thing, Steve Kerr was on LeBatard a couple of days ago and said this Heat defense is the best he's seen since MJ/Pippen/Rodman. I thought that was pretty shocking to hear since I don't think there the best defensive team in this series they're playing lol.

If Boozer plays well they can beat Miami.
Any combo of OKC/Dallas/Miami/Chicago would make for a great Final.

On average yes, the Bulls are better defensively this year. I think when the Heat really turn it on defensively they are as good as MJ/Pippen/Rodman though.

Since LeBron has joined the Heat, this is the most ridiculous, absurd, moronic argument anyone has brought to the table to try to make LeBron look bad.
I don't understand how people can sit here and blame ANYONE for going to a club with HELP.
NEVER, in NBA HISTORY, EVER.......has a team one the title with some sort of help. EVER.

He reminds me of Christian Laetner's first few years in the league. Averaging around 20/10 and everyone saying you suck.

lebron didn't exactly have the ability to sign with every team in the league. only a few were under the cap or could sign him to a max deal

he is the alpha on this team

If i were him i would have gone to chicago. That team would have wrecked fools. They were already put together so much better than the heat squad. But bron wanted to play with his buddies and thats fine.
Chicago was the choice because it wouldn't have been viewed as a "super friends" type situation while still being the far better constructed team.
so if lebron had gone to the better team, people would be easier on him for having success?
insanity

And now LeBron runs to miami to create this same type of team and it's not a bitch move?
it's not at all
basically you've crafted the argument in a way where lebron can't win
1. he stays with a shite team and sucks. hhaha not a champion
2. he goes to the best situation and wins. hahaha had to jump on a great team
3. he goes to an inferior team to #2 but with the best individual player. hahahaha you're not an alpha, even though you are the best player on your team
4. he goes to an inferior team to #2 and 3, with 2 other "mercenaries" (felton and amare) and a coach who will not get them to the title
so basically he had to go to the clippers or bucks and win to get your respect. that's insanity

Was Jordan a bitch?
Kobe wasn't a bitch for telling the Lakers that he either wanted help or a trade?
What about Garnett? Bitch also?
Bird was a bitch as well, because I'm sure he wanted Parish, Ainge, Bill Walton....all those guys.
Magic was a bitch because he won with >insert great Laker here<
Give me a break. All these arguments talking about LeBron and being a bitch are so ridiculously stupid, I can't even read them anymore.
Just STFU because all you want to do is hate on LeBron. That's your only motive if you want to admit it or not.
Posted on 5/13/11 at 8:26 am to Prominentwon
basically the argument goes 1 of 2 ways
1. lebron showed he's not an "alpha dog" because he left cleveland. however, had he stayed in CLE, he never would have won (which is what they want), and they could say he's not a winner.
2. if lebron put himself in a better position, with better teammates, he is a bitch for taking the "easy route." had he gone to chicago, with their defensive turnaround, they'd just be molding the argument they're making about the heat to the bulls
people just want to hate on lebron, and this pre-dates the decision (which was kind of douchey)

That's what I hate about the entire argument. They continually say it was a bitch move, yet leave every other NBA great out of the conversation, because, well........their argument would suck with comparing those other greats and those greats' teammates.
Idiots.
Idiots.
