Bet OU and UT have a similar rude awakening over the next few years too

Tulane might actually be benefiting from a weaker league where they can stack some wins and get some local notoriety.

Cincy will the longest to fix: they're stuck with Satterfield, a hire in the same line as TCU relieving LSU of Trent Johnson or, Cincy, ahem, relieving T Tech of Tuberville.

Hindsight being what it is but I got a feeling the Big 12 never would’ve invited those guys if they knew 4 PAC-12 schools were about to fall in their lap.

My gosh we lucked out last season. Satterfield comes to the Louisville AD and wants a contract extension. AD says no. Satterfield felt slighted, so he leaves. Louisville hires Brohm where he sits at 7-1 and in the top 15

Sometimes things work out the way they should

Cincinnati’s problem is they hired Scott Satterfield. He was on the brink of being fired from Louisville until Cincinnati “stole” him. He is probably the worst coach in the Big 12

I’d like to see what Tulane could do with a P4 label and the extra money/ resources.

Recruiting would shoot up almost immediately.

Cincinnati made a very strange coaching hire to replace Fickell. They needed someone better than Scott Satterfield taking them into a new conference.

Jason Candle from Toledo was the easy answer staring them in the face and they ignored it.

I was thinking that too as soon as those Pac 12 schools joined. Buyer's remorse.
