You'll have to crop the photos in half and do two posts so 31 will fit.

At least we get the Astros and in my mind thats a win/win.

We either win the series or Fredi gets one step closer to the exit.

I do not see Wren firing Fredi midseason.

Are we sure that he will have a choice? Wren didn't make any moves in the offseason, and so far we are picking up right where we left off. He might have to sacrifice simple Fred to save his own arse.

At least I hope so.

If we get swept by the Astros and continue to have a shitty April then I think Wren will have no choice.

Fire Fredi all you want, you'll still have the root of the problem running the show

Well, the root problem is the one who insisted on hiring Fredi and refused to check out any other viable candidates.

But I'm no fan of Wren either.

Exactly, I get labeled as being a Fredi lover when I just don't blame him one way or the other when he isn't given any pieces to a fricked up puzzle...give up a young unproven arm when the chance falls in your lap for a proven everyday outfielder, if they landed Pence I honestly believe they ride off to the WS

Wren's track record is up and down with his moves.

But what irks me is that he seems to have completely mis-evaluated the roster as currently comprised. He bought into the "well if this guy, this guy and this guy bounce back" mentality rather than actively looking for ways to upgrade the roster (albeit is he handcuffed by Liberty)... all in all, it's just not a fun time to be a Braves fan, IMO.

I had mixed feelings about that deal, but it definitely would have solved our problems in LF and it would have given us a legit RH bat to put in the middle of the order. Looking back, it was a bad decision to pass on the deal. I kind of think they are gun shy about making trades like that now because of what went down with Texiera.
