I think Waters is better than Pache.

Both should be brought up next season imo.

Is Folty done? I mean he’s a mental midget to begin with. I don’t think he ever recovers.

I would look to trade inciarte and if anybody called for folty I would let him go. If we are truly trying to win in October then we’ve got to look at guys that can and will help at that time. Get rid of the chokers or guys that can’t handle pressure. Turn em for prospects, bullpen arms, etc.

I’m starting to lean towards Freddie is just a regular season player. That hurts me to type. But the stats are what they are. Not sure I’d go crazy and say trade him. But I don’t really know what to do with him

I will predict Freddie has a good postseason next season if they make it.

Markakis just cannot come back even if he pays the team. Snit will never take him out. Hopefully Snit becomes Special Assistant to the GM or some shite.

I thought the Braves would trade Inciarte last year, maybe this time they'll find a match. He's a good player.

I really wish the Braves would have pulled the trigger on Michael Brantley. Money would have been better spent there instead of Melancon or even Kuechel imo. Especially if it would have given Soroka two starts in the series

Disagree. Both are great and I can't wait to see both in action, but not sure how Waters could be seen as the better option. Offensively, Waters has some work to do from the right side as he currently struggles pretty bad against LHP. Pache is pretty stout against both righties & lefties. Both have some work to do in taking more walks and eliminating strikeouts, but Pache is currently better at both right now as well. And then when you add in the defense, Pache takes the cake. I wouldn't be surprised to see Waters as the main package in a trade this offseason.

Wouldn't say that. You can't give up on a pitcher like that after one start. You gotta trust in a talent like his to move on. He was a top 10 Cy Young finalist last year and this year was lights out in the back stretch of the season. Just about any other team out there would jump at the possibility to have a talent like his in the middle of their rotation.

I was beginning to get nervous they last 20 or so games because everybody just looked so damn exhausted. Hell I was just exhausted watching those games and I didn’t even play

Hasn’t waters kinda out performed pache in almost every category offensively since they’ve been in the minors? I could be wrong on that. And don’t get me wrong. I like both a lot. I think they’ll both be pretty great. I’ve just seen Pache as more of a Inciarte that will be a little better at the plate.

I like Folty. I just wonder what that game will do to his psyche going forward. I’m sure dodgers fans love Kershaw. But come playoff time......

I say that with all the intentions of October in mind. Does anybody really see Folty being able to overcome that bad start given his mental makeup? I hope so. I just have my doubts

Waters has the better hit tool right now but Pache is a better defender than Inciarte right now and has some pretty big raw power. Huge exit velos. Developing hit tool.

The presence of Pache and the fact that you can pay him $600k next year makes trading Inciarte pretty much the easiest call of the winter imo.

I would be pretty hesitant to trade either of them but I like Pache a little better.

Yeah the Snit/Markakis combo doesn’t work. Doubt Snit goes anywhere though so that means Markakis needs to be off limits.

Agree on Inciarte. Nice player who is a duplicate talent to Pache at 11x the cost.

Agreed on Brantley as well. After the Donaldson signing last November that would have been the dream signing to cap off the lineup. Maybe he just wanted to go to Houston I don’t know.

2 RBIS his whole post season career!

he has only hit for .250 in all NLDS

that 1 WC game he hit.750 skewed the stats

he was horrendous against the cards. black hole. he woulda been better off blindfolded. that is bad for a #3 guy.

Doesn't skew anything, it is considered playoffs, if you only focus on the NLDS he has 52 AB. If you are judging him after 52 AB then that is just sad as a "fan" of a team and their leader.
