Then you are expecting too much.
This front office wasn't really left in a perfect situation. This signing and the JJ signing isn't all that important when looked upon it. They are extremely low risk signings that can't really backfire because we don't have much invested in them. But could provide value on the cheap seeing as they both have a history of being successful. Yes, Callaspo had a horrendous 2014 as did Johnson, but he was around league average or better the 3 years prior and has always gotten on base at a decent clip. And we know JJ's story prior to last year.
But to bitch about a guy who likely won't get 400 PA this year is pretty nuts, IMO.

It's not nuts to bitch about things you disagree with. That's part of being a fan. You don't always have to agree with everything. Look at MSB or the Tiger Rant 99% of the time. It's loaded with unhappy people bitching. I'm not happy right now with the direction so far so I'll bitch. Hopefully, something will change my mind soon.

Understandable. We'll just agree to disagree on what's worth bitching about then.

Omar is being shopped by the Royals. Why not kick the tires on him? Send Arodys Vizcaino to the Royals for Omar.

Twins close to a deal with Ervin Santana.
Braves will gain a supplemental pick whenever he signs.

Volfan, that opening post in the thread was pretty awesome. Do you have any idea when you might be able to post something like it again? Or if not what website do you use to get that information? I really want to start something similar on my own computer, but I'd like to make sure I get everything right to start with.

Here you go. Almonte and Toscano figures haven't come out yet.

I'm mildly shocked that we haven't traded Justin Upton yet. Perhaps we do plan on keeping him and Gattis after all.
Posted on 12/11/14 at 7:26 am to USAF Hart
Upton will be gone but I think Gattis stays. Just curious to what we can get for him.
Angels just got a top 30 pitching prospect who's major league ready for 1 year of Howie Kendrick.

I would be thrilled to get a guy like Heaney for Upton. The good news is Hart hasn't settled yet. He is holding out for a good deal because there will be plenty of opportunity to move him still.

Braves draft Daniel Winkler from the Rockies in the Rule 5 Draft

Winkler is a RHP who posted a 1.41 ERA in 12 appearances with Double-A Tulsa last year

Also lost JR Graham who was a pretty big prospect a few years ago and still in our top 15.
