looking at his stats, Johnson isnt bad.

.281 with 15 homers and 76 RBIs last season with Houston and Arizona.

We are trading Uggla to D-Backs to get Prado back?

Would be the icing on the cake

Other than moving Uggla, there aren't any positions where a "firework" move could be made. Pitching is fine and no bench bat we could add (minus Chipper ) would be considered a big move

Then before you know it, Beachy will be back!!!

I really don't see Beachy being a factor until 2014. 1 year on an ACL - OK. I always thinkg 18 months for an arm/elbow.

I saw this Prado move coming when they were talking about actually going to arbitration with him instead of meeting in the middle. Even with today's salaries, the Barves just cannot pay Prado $10-$12 million / year.

of course they aren't that bad.

oh my g a guy strikes out.. all outs are outs. like MLB network said. the A's lead the world in strike outs last season.

i'll take justin upton + .281 15 hrs over prado. prado is just such a fan favorite. it's for the best to happen now with the outfield set. i don't mind losing delgado. they tried parting delgado before any ways.

No, I think Beachy will be back by the All-Star break. Recovery time has gotten much better with TJ surgery over the past few years.

Can anyone put up a live stream of the MLB Network? I'd love to check it out from work.

Sad to see Martin go but this paves the way for the Juan "Crisco Kid" Francisco Pain Train.

happy, JUP was an MVP candidate in 2011. And he's only 25, we will have him for 3 years and his ceiling is high.

I looked that up as well. I thought he was a throw in but when I saw his numbers, I figured he might start over Francisco.
