Still need a corner OF, Chip can't be relied on at 3rd...especially with two injuries now bothering him

I think we get one
Frank said they were still working on acquiring one this morning on MLBN

If it came down to a choice then I would go with a RH relief pitcher first. I could live with Hinske in left for a playoff series way before I could go with Linebrink in a game 7 late inning jam.

The farm can plug the pen, the bigger need is corner OF IMO. With JHey's season long struggles and Prado having to play 3rd you find yourself needing to plug both corners at times

Not when your facing Sanchez, Bumgarner, Lee, and Hamels when your team might already be in a deficit after having to face Lincecum and Halladay
Plus, you'll have our minor league guys in Teheran and Viz most likely throwing out of the bullpen. Give me the RH bat first.
Plus, Linebrink has been fricking good since the middle of May. I don't get the hate for him.

I need to stop. But damn can't wait for him to get to ATL.
Anyone know his numbers vs Phillies? Giants?
11 for 53 vs. Giants current pitching staff he's faced (.208)
- 4/18 7 Ks vs. Lincecum (.222)
- 4/13 vs. Cain (.308)
- 1/6 vs. Sanchez (.167)
two of the hits against Cain were doubles and he's been on base 5 times versus Lincecum and stolen 3 bases.

how long before all this optimism and excitement turns back to talking about what a piece of shite team the Braves are and how Freddi needs to be fired?
i'll say the first time someone reaches base against Hanson today.

Wish we had Cox back, would love to see Proctor and Linebrink platooning the 9th inning

They have to do what’s best for the team. They have to what’s best to try to win a World Series this year.
