So we get Bourn through the end of 2012? Is he a guy we will try to sign longer than that?

Hell of a deal, Olby is the only thing we gave up that's "big time." Rest of the guys are solid guys, but nothing amazing. Love it.

Doubtful, but who knows.

Frankly, IDGAF right now.

Our CF situation will clear up by then and we will know the direction we want to go.

Yeah, and we don't exactly compete often on the market. That's cool though, I'm just glad we're not renting a guy for only 2 months.

eta - which is why I would've been pissed with a Beltran deal

effSchultzAJC Just spoke to Schafer. He said he had a feeling last night he was going to be traded to Houston. Nobody had said anything to him. #Braves

effSchultzAJC For those asking, Bourn was in Milwaukee and there's no indication he'll be here in time for today's #Braves game. But we'll update.

Having Bourn at the top doing what he can do, with Prado who is starting to become more like himself right behind him, and Chipper/Mac/Uggla/Freeman right behind the 2, this lineup instantly just went from average to a really good one.

As much as people wanted one, this team didn't need a middle of the order bat with those 3/4 depending on your take on Chipper.

If we can go get that RH platoon/bench bat, then you have to be really, really impressed with what Frank has done.

He gets on base 1st inning in the playoffs, steals, and then Prado, Mccann, Uggla/Chipper all have a shot to hit him in and we're up 1-0 early after 1.

I need to stop. But damn can't wait for him to get to ATL.

Anyone know his numbers vs Phillies? Giants?

We have 'tepid' interest in acquiring Scott Hairston from Mets for a bench bat

Not getting Adams or Bell

I think some other team is close to trading for Ludwick last I've heard

havent heard us linked to Willingham in awhile

I don't really care what bat we get. I just want to get someone that can play he corner outfield spots and hit lefties well. He can be 0-1000 in his career against righties as long as he is solid against the southpaws.

This is how the 2 stand against lefties this year.

Ludwick .320/.407/.264

Willingham .336/.505/.237

The third is average and not OPS
