CHAMPIONSHIP

Astros Receive:

LHP Brett Oberholtzer
RHP Paul Clemens
RHP Juan Abreu

Braves Receive:
CF Michael Bourn
Cash from Astros

Ricky Nolasco RHP (7-7) 4.04 ERA
Nolasco had a solid bounce-back effort after his worst career start, an outing in which he allowed nine runs in 1 1/3 innings against the Padres. Nolasco gave up two runs in 5 2/3 innings, throwing 111 pitches at Washington.

Tommy Hanson RHP (11-5) 3.13 ERA

Hanson took the no-decision in his last start against the Pirates, giving up three runs in six innings in a marathon 19-inning game. Hanson has plenty of success against the Marlins, going 5-1 with a 2.32 ERA in eight career starts against them.

Lineup:
TBD

Topic of the day:
Amazing trade made by Wren this morning. Didn't get rid of the top 6 untouchables, who ever the other 2 players were.

Good bye Schafer. Will miss your douchetasticness

you read that from some ATL writer. Astros have Jason Castro who profiles as the same type of player, good defense meh bat.

Ryno will tell you all how stupid Ed Wade was, but the fact is this wasnt a bad trade for the astros. We need to stock our minor leagues with talent. Id rather two top 10 pitching prospects than one minor. Not to mention Ive got high hopes for Schafer.
