Here are how the probables have fared against the opposing side.
Braves:
Medlen - 3-0 with a 1.23 ERA in 29.1 innings.
Minor - 1-1 with a 2.32 ERA in 31 innings.
Teheran has not faced them.
Dodgers:
Kershaw - 0-0 with a 2.45 ERA in 29.1 innings.
Greinke - 1-1 with a 3.50 ERA in 18 innings.
Ryu - 0-0 with a 2.13 ERA in 12.2 innings.

Weather looks good for game 1 and 2. Highs of about 80 with lows around 65. About 20% chance of rain both nights.

I really like the Braves swung the sticks this last series. Was worried. Feel that with Heyward back, we are a team to be reckoned with.

Too bad the cubs couldn't play like they aren't the cubs for once. Braves really pissed away home field the last 3 weeks of the season though.

I'm sure it had nothing to do with Heyward being out since the middle August.

2013 Postseason Drinking Game: Atlanta Braves Edition
Take a sip when an Upton brother strikes out
Take a sip when Dan Uggla strikes out
Takes a sip when Jason Heyward strikes out
Take a sip when an announcer talks about Evan Gattis’ past
Take a sip when Chris Johnson gets a hit
Take a sip when Freddie Freeman gets a hit
Take a sip when any Braves not named Freddie Freeman or Chris Johnson get a hit
Take a sip for every batter Mike Minor or Julio Teheran strikes out
Take two sips when Justin Upton admires a home run
Take two sips when Craig Kimbrel strikes out a batter
Take two sips when a Cards fan enters this thread and makes an idiot of himself
Take two sips when you hear the Tomahawk chant
Take three sips if Craig Kimbrel walks a batter
Take three sips if BJ Upton gets a hit
Finish your drink if the Braves lose in the first round
Finish your drink if BJ Upton hits a homerun
Finish your drink and take a shot if Craig Kimbrel blows a save

One player shouldn't make THAT big of a difference. But it certainly didn't help.

The splits speak for itself. 70-33 when he plays. 26-33 when he doesn't.

I don't watch the braves a lot, but that sounds like it speaks a lot about your lineup as a whole. The cards have been missing Craig since the beginning of of September and still finished strong.

Is heyward expected back soon?

Really like where Medlen is at right now. Minor needs to get his shite together.

Andre Ethier probably won't play in the field. Might be able to pinch hit.

Matt Kemp was on crutches during the postgame celebration

Did you mean Choketober? I kid, hope the Braves and Cards both advance, it would be an epic series.
