He hasn’t been that good of a pitcher lately either. Relatively, speaking. I’m not saying I would do it, but it’s definitely something to consider if it gives us even a slight advantage.
I just joined the thread. Been working with the game on. Sucks so bad about Charlie. Only guy in the rotation with World Series experience, and he dials it up in big spots anyway, but you know he was going to pick it up even another notch against the ‘stros. Oh well.
But another really good thing was negated. Besides having a 5-0 lead, we chased their starter and they had to go to their pen in the 3rd. That could have given us a huge advantage going forward. Then just like that, we’re in the exact same position. Not to overreact or jinx us, but I think this game has to be a must-win at this point.
