but it wasn’t a dominant start.
Lol what?
He gave up 2 ER on 5 hits on the road. The only barrel LA had the whole night was Freddie’s homer. Both of their RBI singles were under 85 mph ev.
It was dominant.

You’re right Bud, one was unearned.

I knew this would be a shite show in LA. It’s really futile to watch. There is something about playing there that makes them shrink, it’s pathetic really.
Broski is absolutely right though. I started going back through some ABs by Sale……and he was VERY good. I’ve seen him more dominant, but the lineup ABSOLUTELY failed him tonight. I guess it skewed my perception because I KNEW that every run scored by La was another nail in the coffin.
Once we lost the Seattle series, I was dreading this series.

Harris had more balls hit over 100mph than the entire Dodgers lineup tonight and three of his hits led off an inning… only scored once.
What an abject failure by the rest of the lineup tonight

Riley was good. Harris was good.
Ozzie had chances and didn’t deliver but he’s been one of the most clutch hitters in the league this year so far so I’m willing to give him a pass. Olson just had a bad game so I’m willing to give him a pass.
Yaz had multiple times up with people on and fricking SUCKS
Also Harris was safe at home not that it would have changed the game

Ehh… he had a runner on third in his last 2 ABs and popped out in the infield with one out and struck out with 2 outs.

He wasn’t clutch that’s totally true but he had a 2 hit game and guess who hits behind him and didn’t deliver like he hasn’t since day 1?

Riley and Yaz are both losing players and we have them hitting back to back
Posted on 5/9/26 at 12:17 am to Broski
Riley has a -.1 War and Yaz at 0 or if you round up .1
Riley has 5 homers and 22 rbis while Yaz has no homers and 6 RBIs
Yaz plays a little less so I assume the slight discrepancy comes from there but they’ve both mostly deadweight right now you’re right

Yep, Harris was good tonight. He looks like he’s getting healthy again and is hopefully heating back up.
Austin had a couple of good ABs, but also some REALLY UGLY ones as well.

I was fricking hammered by the time this game ended last night
My wife has no idea who yaz is or wtf I was ranting about and probably thought the 11th jameson and ginger was one too many but I was NOT a happy man

Yaz plays really good outfield defense. That's the discrepancy

It's not entirely something, but it's also not nothing that we have only played one game against a team with a record at .500 or better.
