I’m curious what Braves fans expected going into the season. They’ve been awesome. Chris Sale getting out of Boston was the best thing that could have happened to him.

I expected if we were lucky we would slip into the wild card

I live in NC so I have a casual interest in following the team only because they’re always on TV and the radio. Lots of diehards in my area.

I was pessimistic. Honestly thought Riley and Albies were both cooked. Thought the starting pitching left a lot to be desired.

Thought they were about an 84 win team who would be in a fight for the last wild card spot. I never expected Albies and Harris to hit like they have so far.

Expected them to be in the hunt for a wild card.

The raw talent level said they could do more than that -- but they have always been missing key pieces at various points due to injury (like Acuna, Strider...).

I like Weiss’s lineup changes and tinkering. Refreshing from Snit’s stubborn same lineup every day.

Only chance I’d like to see is Harris embedded at 4 nightly like Olson is at 3. He hits the ball harder than anyone on the team and is 4th in baseball in exit velocity. He is absolutely crushing everything he makes contact with.

Idk, because if everyone is healthy and Ronnie is leading off, that puts three lefties in a row with Baldwin/Olson/Harris

The season hasn’t even started yet, We are still in May. Nothing matters in MLB until late August thru November.

All that matters for the Braves is that our starting pitchers appear to be good. Can they be good when it matters or will they suck or be injured?

As always, you're laughably wrong.

I thought that was a 2 run hr for Kim off the bat. Wind really knocked it down

Jesus Christ, you're a fricking retard. Somehow, you don't understand that you have to win enough games before September for September through November to matter. You talk like the Braves are guaranteed a playoff spot no matter what even though you've been proven unbelievably wrong in the last two seasons. You whine about Sale's usage in 2024 while somehow forgetting that they needed every last one of his starts to make the playoffs; they literally had to win Game 162 to make it.
