Conforto is clearly our top available option imo.

Definitely the most upside and best combo of offense and defense(outside of maybe Suzuki, but I can't see us involved there with him). I just wonder if the money and years will be in the right range for us with Conforto.

If he goes to LAD, he still gets an ovation returning to Truist, right??

Right before Luke Jackson cuts him down.

Of course. I’d probably tear up if I was there honestly.

Thrilled either the Olsen extension though

Did someone post that graph in this thread earlier or did I see it on Twitter? Regardless, someone had an idea about this signing early.

rather Soler. Rosario’s postseason just screams flash in a pan.

I could go either way honestly, our lineup could use another solid lefty with pop since we are so right handed heavy

That, and the NL East is pretty RH heavy in terms of starting pitching so getting another lefty bat to offset that would be optimal.

Rosario was about as clutch as it got. That did not scream flash at me at all. He was the guy that I was most excited to see and we had to wait for it. I expect big things this year.

Conforto

Can somebody tell me about him? Don’t know much. I’ve got a few thoughts on all the going’s-on, but I just got caught up and am not ready to comment on all of it just yet. I will say that I agree with Dale Murphy and all he’s said about Freddie. If he wanted to be a Brave, he would be. But AA couldn’t wait and let the Olson deal slip away.

AA said that McHugh will be used in late inning, high leverage situations.

McHugh is one of the 10 best relievers in the game. Very shrewd move. Incredible value (and I hate paying relievers).

I’m one of about eight Rays fans.

McHugh may have been our best pitcher last year. Most of his appearances were in high leverage situations too. Huge pick-up. I was hoping the Rays could somehow hold onto him.

I also love your spring training park in Venice. It’s really nice. A lot better than our Trop.

I bet Freddie ends up signing a 4 year deal somewhere, seems like he might have played himself.
