Under the old two-division system, you wouldn't have even gotten a slot. You should be thankful Selig implemented the wild card at all based on your team this year. Now, when he adds another wild card spot, it's too many.
You guys weren't even the best team in the National League East this year. Yet you had the opportunity to get hot at the end of the year and be crowned the best team in baseball, even though you weren't the best team in your own division through 162 games. Quit complaining.
