I have a 1991 NLCS champion shirt I'm going to look for tomorrow. It was the first year I was living in Atlanta after my parents uprooted us from Lafayette.
I still remember Steve Avery being the MVP and people naming their dogs Avery.

Considering the stage and his previous history, was what Bryse Wilson did tonight one of the best Braves pitching performances in history?

Possibly, Avery won two games against the pirates and made his debut in 1990 but don't remember how the pirates were considered.
Smoltz won 2 games as well.
Not trying to shite on anyone but that rt there is fricking impressive
Braves were also last place the year prior

Avery's amazing season continued with one of the greatest postseason performances of all-time. He shut out the Pittsburgh Pirates for 16?2/3 innings over two games and accumulated two 1–0 wins.

We gonna run out Wright again? I like the decision which saves Fried and Anderson for 6&7. We go heavy after similar to tonight. Bryce handled business tonight.

I’m still pissed a 30 year old Nomo got rookie of the year over Chipper Jones. You played pro ball you ain’t no rookie.
You're my new favorite poster. I was 14 and remember going absolutely batshat when Nomo won ROTY. Whoever voted for him over Chip should of had their vote pulled for life out of sheer stupidity.
Chipper is my favorite ballplayer ever FWIW.

Here's a LA Times column from Bill Plaschke after game 3 that made what happened in game 4 that much sweeter.

In the wake of their 15-3 victory over the Braves in Game 3 of the National League Championship Series at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, on Wednesday, the Dodgers looked good enough to create a mathematical conundrum.
Can you be trailing two games to one yet actually be leading? Can you clinch a series with a single victory? Can you sweep without sweeping? The answers are as emphatic as a Dodgers offense that set a major-league postseason record with 11 runs in one inning and franchise postseason records with 15 runs and five homers.
Yes, yes and yes.

Just look what comes next. How are the Braves going to survive what comes next?
In Game 4 Thursday night, the Dodgers will start future Hall of Famer Clayton Kershaw while the Braves will counter with… Bryse Wilson? He’s probably a nice enough kid, but the 22-year-old has pitched in 15 big-league games in three seasons with a career ERA of 5.91.

LOL. The LA Dodgers are Hilary Clinton . They have it in the bag

This is the most impressive win I can ever remember. To emphatically bounce back from what happened last night is absolutely incredible. What a fricking performance by Wilson.
If the Braves end up winning the WS, he'll never have to buy a drink or dinner in this town again.

So who’s starting tonight?

Me. I've got a nasty cutter.
But seriously, still no decision has been announced. It could be Wright, considering that he only threw, I believe, 28 pitches before his exit the other night, and he's had a day off now. But there are really only two options. Wright, or a straight up bullpen game. The only other "starter" available is Tomlin, and there is no way they're trotting him out there to start a game. He's the emergency innings eater, if there is a huge deficit, from here on out, I'd have to believe. Snitker burned Ynoa in that role in the loss, when it should have been Tomlin. Hopefully, he's learned his lesson.

Interesting take on the Dodgers using Urias in Game 3.
Starter for tonight still not announced.

Pretty typical of the sports media to go out of their way to blame L.A for the position the Braves have actually put themselves in.
I get what the writer is saying about not needing to throw Urias out there with a huge lead. But, all I heard before the series was about L.A's unlimited magical starting pitching powers. NOW, this guy wants to complain that their rotation is screwed? Also, that was a not so subtle comment about how they could have given Kershaw another day to rest his "bothersome back". In other words, Kershaw's back was the problem last night, not the Braves offense beating up on him. Geez... It was back spasms, three days ago. The dude was fine.
I hope we beat the snot out of L.A tonight, and maybe the media can all stay home for the world series, since the only team they care about wouldn't be there.

yep. just stupid. ynoa looked good. score did not matter at that point because we were losing that game anyway.
if wright starts he has to be on a short leash. be ready to bullpen this game and end this series tonight.
