Again. fricking soft.
The Phillies and the fans aren't the ones who look soft in this scenario.
You're just mad because they are rubbing it in your face, which they have every right to, it's sports... none of this actually matters, however we are all obscenely passionate about it, which is what makes it fun.

Jordan made up a story about a rookie shite talking him and used it as motivation to embarrass the guy the next game. They have a killer instinct and we don’t. That’s all it really comes down to.

All of those WS rings for Harper

Really irrelevant for us. They beat our arse and put us out. Hope we figure something out going forward.

The Phillies aren't soft. The Braves are soft. No heart and no balls.
Did anyone else see Acuna and Iglesias having a good old laugh in the dugout in the 9th inning when their season was about to end?

There’s nothing we can do and to be honest nothing we should do. We have 2 major league free agents. We will have the best roster in the sport next year again and almost assuredly be in this same position the first week in October hoping we have a better 4-5 game sample.
I guess the argument you could make is do you want some different personalities on the periphery of the roster? I do think having guys like Vogt, Joc, etc. can be a big benefit in these short series.
Arcia is making utility money. I personally would prefer a stronger defender playing SS every day and we need an upgrade on Pillar. There are plenty of one trick pony lefty smashers available to platoon with Eddie. Pillar was pretty atrocious after May.

Unfortunately not even a top 5 most painful endings to a season in my opinion. We ran out of gas. That’s baseball.
I’m not ready to say we have a “postseason problem” when we are 2 years removed from a World Series. The 90’s have absolutely no bearing on what’s happening now. Just saw we open next season with 3 @Philly. That ought to be fun.

I think we need to upgrade at closer, plus another power arm in the pen.

I don’t really think talent is the issue. It does have more to do with personality. Some fire has to come from somewhere be it players or a manager. They all seem like they have the personalities of just being laid back or almost jokesters. You just don’t see a competitive fire, IMO.

Snit is a notorious hardass on the players, so not sure where that is coming from.

Has Snitker retired yet?
He won’t. Gotta make sure he gets a Bobby-like farewell tour.
