Here’s where the Braves stand starting today…
3.5 games behind the Brewers for best record in baseball
Tied with the Dodgers and Rays for 2nd best record. We own the tiebreaker over the Dodgers, so we start today with a first round bye
5 games up on the Phils in the NL East
The Padres and D-Backs are fighting for the last wild card spot. We would have to fall behind both of them to miss the playoffs entirely. We are 10 ahead of the Padres and 10.5 ahead of the D-Backs. With 21 games left, it is extremely unlikely that will happen.

You lose your posting privileges if Ronnie goes 0-fer today.

The past 10 games ish or so he’s shown massive improvement in the area of the game that was quickly making him a below league average player. Four seam fastballs upper in the zone.
If he is over struggling with them all I need to see now is his true power to return and I’ll proclaim he is back

Here’s where the Braves are at
As well as Ronald and Murphy really starting to pick it up offensively which is MASSIVE for this team. We have been needing right handed bats to start playing up to their potential.
Saurez will be back around 2 weeks left in the season barring set backs
My only two real concerns atm are Olson offensively and Lee looking very shaky

Lee thinks he’s been tipping pitches. Velocity is good. Hope that’s all it is.

He has been leaving sliders up a lot
That’s likely a mechanical thing

Have to get at least two runs in here

Pulled a Barves there leaving the sacks loaded

His awful tag by Riley, went over the bag and Schwarber’s hand to tag his arm.

Perez couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat tonight
Posted on 9/5/26 at 5:28 pm to Broski
Perez is too much of an Ian Anderson where his success is predicated on hitters chasing the change.
