My god, what a throw by Ronald. Runner at third would have been toast by a mile if he tried to go.

Really good start from Grant today. He seems to have figured something out as far as getting through a lineup for a second time.

And people wanted to trade Ronald.

The throw before was pretty good as well.

Conway Kenny Powers has had 3 high level defensive plays behind him today to stay in the game - two twin kills - both unassisted - and Ronald -

credit to Holmes for cleaning it up getting a K for third out B6 -

nope - nvm - carry on -

Dom is exactly what I tried telling people in here he was at the beginning of the season. There were some in here that thought he was the best thing since sliced bread, and didn’t believe it when I (and some others in here) that said he’s not good and would regress

Dom is fine for a bench bat, but he DEFINITELY should not have been (at any point) counted on as a primary DH

Excellent recent starts from Holmes. It’d be nice to have the luxury of Holmes as a middle innings man in the playoffs.

Acuna should’ve been on with ball four and that would’ve been a two run shot. Great to see, regardless.

That’s definitely where he is best suited. I really don’t want to count on him or Bryce starting games in the postseason.

Yankees starters have allowed 3 earned runs this series, while Braves starters have allowed 4 earned runs. Sales balk was an earned run, so Braves starters have performed as well as the Yankees starters.

One week post-trade deadline:

Braves starters not counting Sale
28 IP
1 ER

Traded starters:
47.2 IP
40 ER

No comment, just presenting the stats.

They definitely performed well, but you also have to take it into context……..they are missing Judge, Bellinger, and Stanton lol

Yeah, this Yankees team will cruise to the World Series if they get those guys back.

Does Jazz have major holes in his game or is he just a head case? I thought he’d be a ten time all star when he first came up.

Jazz is a talented guy athletically, but he’s always been overrated IMO. Sports media pumped him up A LOT, and yes he is a bit of a head case

Lol they had the worst record against +.500 teams when they were healthy.

They are incredibly overrated. Our bats just didn’t show up.

Boston would sweep them if they played right now, even if those guys were healthy. No one in the AL is touching the Red Sox unless they start getting injured.
