Still got a chance but not much of one with what's coming up for us in the 9th. Also, whoever pitches the 8th for Atlanta has to put up a zero
holy crap what a play to do just that.

Now that should be a springboard to a Braves 9th inning winning rally........if only we had decent hitters coming up

Now do the last month.

His OPS has plummeted.
Walt gave him a 'day off' game 3 at NYY and he was 11/25 the 6 games prior - since then he's been a ghost up until yesterday and today - he's gotta produce -

that might be the double play of the season right there - right there with Olson's unassisted at Baltimore -

I both hope Dubon remains serviceable and that we don’t consider resigning him.

I wouldn't mind keeping him on, just not as the everyday SS. He's a great utility guy to have. He just can't be getting starter-level AB's.

Good for Yaz to get on base and keep the inning alive, but he still go mid-contact on a hanging curveball.

Gotta park that one over the fence or at least get a good barrel EV.

This team is going to get bent the frick over in the playoffs.

We've scored more than 3 runs twice in our last 10 games.

Our wRC+ is only better than the A's in the last two months.

I know it’s a long season, but in a big spot at the end of the game, WTF is Acuna doing smiling and joking with Contreras for? You need to be ultra focused there. It’s like Ronald was taking a third inning spring training AB with that mindset.

Ronald hasn't looked right all year. He looks heavier, slower, and looks like the Monstars have taken away his hitting ability.

And still is in the top half of our starters in OPS.

This roster is straight trash.

he's allowed 3 - 1 - 2 runs in his 3 August starts - and taken all 3 L's -

same shite happened to him in June - 3 L's allowing 6 total runs - got a no decisions in the 4th game he started in June - that's the one game Atlanta actually won -

And watching Contreras go 4-4, knowing AA thought .110 hitting Murphy was a better fit just pisses me off to no end.

Never forget that LCLa said this year that AA is the best GM in baseball.

That's not just a bad AA trade, that's up there with the Chris Archer trade among the worst ones any team in baseball has made in the last 10-15 years.

Be a nice combo at catcher (Baldwin and Contreras)
Alternating at catcher/DH.

It was a 3 team trade few years ago with A's/Braves/Brewers.
Big part if it Braves getting Murphy.
Brewers getting Contreras.
A's getting
Damn, our GM is a dumbass then and now.
