What a fricking outing by Kimbrel.

I think my favorite thing about Kimbrel (besides the upper 90s fastball and knee-buckling slider) is how consistently he throws strikes. Almost never really in danger of walking anybody.

Another save and another Braves win

With the win, the Braves bounce back from the loss and improve to 13-2 (MLB best). They will pick up a half game on the Nats, who had the day off, and extend the lead to 4 games in the NL East.

How awful would be to try to face Kimbrel and get behind in the count 0-2?

I can't even imagine trying to take a 2-strike approach against that guy.

serious question.

When McCann and Freeman come back, what are we going to do with Gattis, CJ, and Road Runner?

Just gotta pick one and attempt to hit it. But which one to chose is almost impossible to decide

I'm debating on starting the thread tom,but my 0-0 record would be better than 0-1 if we lost.

he's got pinpoint accuracy. catcher's mitt will be low and outside and Kimbrel will put it right in his glove.

Platoon CJ and RR at 3rd. Freeman everyday starter at 1st. Gattis will be his backup on rest days.

Then it will depend on how McCann is doing.

Roadrunner will be benched and they'll probably platoon Gattis with McCann.

Had this conversation today with my brother. 5 really good players battling for 3 positions. Going be interesting to see what Fredi does.

Standings should be done via win percentage, IMHO

It's great to have the options off the bench though.

I mean, can you platoon CJ if he's leading the league in BA? But then how can you sit Road Runner? I guess Gattis can back up Catcher, and 1B, should get him at least 1-2 starts a week.
