Yeah I had the dogs barking waking everyone up. I may be sleeping on the couch.

We don’t cash in much, but we took 8 BB tonight. That’s a month's worth for us.
We stranded a small army, but also chased Snell after 4. The Dodgers pen has velo, but they don't have command and have been their weak point this season.
Will be tough to do that to Yammamoto, but I really loved our approach tonight.

Weiss was perfect. Leaving Fuentes in and bringing Iggy in for the last out was great.

I mean a bullpen game against Snell? I'd say we stole one
It just seemed to insinuate we’re not entitled to any success vs the Dodgers. The story is that we won not that the Dodgers lost.

TV crew sucks. Braves radio crew is where it's at.

Snell vs a second bullpen game in a row. Fair to say we were a huge dog. This team keeps finding a way though.

I hear you, but he's sharing a booth with John Smoltz.

I'm still in shock about the entire game

Yeah and that talk about the Braves not being able to sell out games that start at 2pm on a weekday and the mighty Dodgers can't sell out weekend games.

I think it;s a fair booth considering the other guy in it is a Braves HOFer

We gotta give Walt some credit here. Controversial decision to do the Kerr opener again. Made all the right calls tonight and masterfully managed the pen. Fantastic
As much as I like Brian Snitker, he’d never manage the pen to this level.

not really.. but he just doesn't come through when we need him to.. All he had to do is hit a pop fly into the outfield.. Yes, I know it is harder than it looks but he was trying to hit a grand slam there instead of just trying to get a sac

2026 season may be manifesting into something quite memorable after this game 2 win -

Always fun reading the dumb takes before games. The first page or two is full of them. It’s almost like the manager that won the division knows his players and knows what he is doing. Go Braves

It's not a stupid take to say we mismanaged the situation by having Grant Holmes having thrown to more batters than Chris Sale over the last three postseason games.
We fought through an awful situation today because of awesome work from Fuentes and Suarez.
Also really easy to talk shite with hindsight.

Disagree. He had very similar challenges in both 2020 and 2021 and had to use openers on several occasions and managed it very well

Yes unlike you I know not to say stupid things before the game is played. It’s easy to put your foot in your mouth in hindsight also. Was it risky? Sure but you aren’t the coach that asked Sale how he felt so he made a decision. That’s not mismanagement. Sale is the reason Sale pitched in the final Philly game. He wanted to be the one to close it out.

Imagine taking a message board this seriously

Sale said he was ready to go big dawg.
