I just heard them say a stat about guys being 4 shots back have a chance to win.
So it will be between the top 5 guys. Technically Dechambeau was 4 shots back to start the day so maybe him or Hatton still have a chance

Generally yes, but it’s only Rose that’s that far out. Everyone else is bunched up around 2 under so if rose comes backwards, a lot of guys are still in it. I really think if you are at +2 or better starting today you still have to think you have a chance to win.

No, he’s at least getting up and down.
He hit his drive off the bottom of the club face on 1. Then proceeded to miss the green, then up and down for par.
He put a dumb dumb mark on his wood on 4, made a very good up and down there.
If he keeps getting up and down that doesn’t bode well for the field, because his ball striking will come back to him.

I like Rose, 44 years old with just the one major over 10 years ago. But there’s no way he sustains the lead.
Most likely scenario is that Rose drops a couple of shots today or tomorrow, Scottie will end up 3 shots ahead of the pack heading into Sunday and win it by 4 or 5 because the man is unflappable

Rose missed that shot at 6 so bad and it finishes 15 ft from the hole.
