The captain shite is all so overrated.
But why would you put the team that is 132 out of 132 for possible combinations using actual stats out there twice? Especially when it went awful the first time through Thats just being stubborn

Might as well be honest, the US pairings don't matter that much after today.
Euro just has better pairings, chemistry and dawg in them.
Feels like every one of our players just has major liability throughout a round.

It is fascinating. I guess it has to do with all the Americans growing up playing almost exclusively 72 hole stroke play and being so risk adverse. Match play is just so different, you’ve got 18 holes to BEAT them, parring them to death and running into a couple of birdies isn’t how you win a match, but it’s how you when a 4 day stroke play tournament

These pairings have be to biggest mistakes made by a captain in a long time. Keegan should’ve played and gave up the captain spot. Morikawa and English back is full on retarded

I kinda agree with this on Americans being nervous and Euro playing loose in match play.
Before shots, the broadcast team and every other arm-chair-quarterback was freaking out over Rahm’s attempt out of thick shite and Hatton’s stick ball. Saying it was foolish to not take unplayable’s on both.
Both guys ultimately just said frick it, let it rip, and hit shots that won the hole (helped decide the match).

Didn’t the euros shoot like 5 under and 7 under in some of their foursomes rounds? That’s ridiculous golf in foursomes. There was nothing except even more exceptional golf that was gonna stop it. We just have to hope that they don’t play as well tomorrow and we play better. It’s that simple

No he put guys like Jordan Spieth and Rickie Fowler who are slightly above average Tour player on the team and then ran them out there 4 and 2 times

Correct. Euros were just running in putts. Americans didn’t play that well, but they didn’t crown the Euros, they went out and took it
