Ohio State is winning by an average score of 37-5.
Ohio State opponents are averaging 40 points a game when not playing OSU.
Averaging 5 points a game while playing OSU.
His take isn't that far fetched

excpet for the fact that, ya know...we're not even halfway through the season and they've won precisely nothing yet.
But of course you know that, October 2025 registrant..

He said they might be, not that they are.

Remember when you thought you were going to dominate the BIG10 ?

So far they have beat Texas. I wouldn't be bragging about that.

2019 lsu isn’t really debatable
First team who goes undefeated in the 12 team system will have a better claim likely than anyone else as they will have beaten 4 straight top 10 teams (conference title game +3) and whomever else was on their schedule before that.
OSU 2024 likely has more top 10 wins against teams who finished top 10 than anyone before, because they had 4 in a row in the playoffs, Indiana and PSU who finished there as well. So they beat 6 of the other top 9 as they can't play themselves

I can’t ever tell if he’s trolling or sincere, but this is par for the course for Sam for years. And I’m pretty sure he’s popped up on here a few times over the years for his hyperbole.

2023 Michigan?
That’s ridiculous
Says the fan of a team which lost to them in what ultimately became Saban's swan song, weren't y'all favored in that game too?

Yea I guess it may be a little debatable. Like someone said, that geeenie video earlier really shows how dominant they were at the end there.

And they for sure were one of, if no the best overall team at year end ever.
LSU 2007 and OSU 2024 both had 2 losses, but both fanbases will happily take the titles
OSU 2002 and LSU 2019 both went undefeated, and both fanbases will happily take those titles too
This other stuff is just noise. Any P4 team in 2024 would likely beat the national champs in 1975 by 50 points. But that 1975 team was incredible for its time and should be celebrated

Why would you give such obvious bait more traffic?

Take is stupid but in this crazy CFB system now that we've got with two Super-Conferences, better opponents and the Playoffs guantlet....current winners now and going forward, undefeateds who survive unscathed will have better CVs than those from the past.
So they will be mentioned, just as LSU fans touted their on-paper CV and # of games played in throwing their hat in the ring arguing GOAT.

That's like saying, whoever goes undefeated in the SEC with a nine-game schedule is the GOAT SEC team. Flawed logic, given that the other teams never had the opportunity to go undefeated in a 12-team system. LSU beat Oklahoma and Clemson; it's safe to say that they would have beaten the #8 team as well (unlike OSU, they did not lose, and therefore, got a one seed). 2024 OSU was nice, and they were the best team in 2024, but when you lose twice, you cannot claim GOAT status (not saying you are, but there were some people talking about it, due to their run). Are we going to reward teams for getting a lower seed (and playing four teams instead of three) by losing multiple games?
Is 2001 Miami or 1995 Nebraska automatically a lesser team than 2025 Ohio State or Oregon because they did not play in a 12-team playoff (but annihilated #2)? We all know that Ohio State would beat the Eagles by 2 TD's, right?

The 2019 LSU team is very overrated and would've gotten trounced by the 2020 Bama team.

You mean Texas would hang more points on Sam Houston State and San Jose State than they would against Ohio State? And Grambling would score more against Langston and Kentucky State? Who knew?
Ohio State's defense is elite, but using opponents ppg against all other teams is misleading to say the least. Using ppg against P4 might be a better way of measuring, or at least teams in their conference (like Ohio scoring only 14 on Ball State).
Ohio State would shut the Colts down; the Colts would be lucky to score against Ohio State, we all know this.
