Not that it is the end all be all, but has Barbe hit five HRs as a team all year?

Barbe seems to have won for decades more with dominant pitching, solid defense, and a small ball offense. Not since that group they had that went to the LLWS can I remember a strong team offense from them.

I agree. Just thought his year seemed "smaller" than normal. They put a lot of pressure on you on bases. Bunting, stealing, hit and run. They don't seem that great and next thing you know, you've lost 4-1. Over and over.

Bottom 4th, less than 45 minutes into the game.

Sam Houston had a chance to do real damage in the 3rd and only got 1, after being thrown out at the plate on a single to center.

Sh wins 1-0

Barbe scores no runs in the series. Sh had two great pitching performances and gets revenge

Sam wins 1-0. Barbe scored three runs in their last 28 innings.

Man all the sudden they got to playoffs and couldn’t hit. In regular season they hit SH and sulphur pitchers better than anyone

As soon as the playoffs started, couldn’t hit shite. When you have pitchers that have 3 runs in 6 games…well shite should be undefeated.

Feel bad for the seniors but SH peaking at absolutely the right time. They are going to be a very tough out.

Not true, scored 6 in last 28 but only 8 in last 42. Not a recipe to win no matter how good your pitching is. Never ever would I have thought this team would have flipped so much that they were having to win games by 1-2 runs and that the pitching staff would be the strength of the team.

You are correct. I thought the two, 1-0 wins were in the Quarters but they were in the Regionals.

Westlake gets a diving catch in center field for 3rd out in top of the 7th.

Dylan Downs walks #1 and #2 hitters for Rams in bottom

Adams comes in and Hadley Hardesty lays down sac bunt

Brody Anderson gets rbi ground out off of Devyn Downs. To tie game at 4-4

Full count and when the catcher throws ball back to Downs Westlake sends runner to win the game on walk off steal of home

Sterlington got a 3r HR from Adams in the 4th I believe

Game 3 tomorrow at noon for ticket to championship

Barbe has a very good lineup but hasnt had to face adversity because the pitching has been great. Yall had a heck of a season. 30 wins in a row is a phenomenal feat.
SH is making a statement this year, sweeping St. Amant and Slidell at home. Went on the road and swept WM and Barbe while facing arguably the 4 best pitchers in the state. Just a bunch of dogs that play baseball the right way without a need for all the circus stuff.
