The fans were all giving Cantlay endless shite about the money thing and the hat thing, they’ve been “tipping their cap” to him in a mocking way all yesterday.
After Cantlay drained that huge putt on 18 yesterday his caddie tipped his cap back at the crowd in a very flamboyant way, Rory felt that he stood in his eye line and celebrated too long.
After the round Rory was videos yelling at Cantlay’s caddie in the parking lot being “held back” by Shane Lowry.
So Americans not wearing a hat are supporting Cantlay and giving the fans and Rory a little jab, I like it need something to fire us up.

Captain’s picks are the difference. 2-9 for US, 9-2 for Euros. Azinger just referenced it if I heard him right.

Yes, our captains picks only have 2 points, but our auto guys, your should be studs, only have 3.5 points….That’s the far bigger issue for us
