How can you hate Zach Johnson? Guy is the ultimate grinder.

for no rational reason, just hate looking at his face. Always quick to whine about the course conditions too

So i am sure to parley that irrational hate to bitching about a line up instead of bitching about the players just sucking

This is getting weird, Team USA not making players available for interviews after opening ceremony. Also denying access to team room or players for Netflix. Maybe trying to reduce distractions but I can’t remember this happening before.

Netflix has never been a part of the Ryder cup before.

Honestly do not like Zach Johnson at all. He is a notch below Rory IMHO

Scheffler has a new putting coach, changed putters, setup, basically an overhaul and you think that will hold up under this pressure?

Hovland and Aberg maybe the two hottest golfers on the planet

What does it say that we are sitting JT and Jordan? After they quit after 9 holes yesterday to hit the range and work on their swings.

Even when Scottie putts horribly, he is still one of the top 5 players on the planet.

And Scottie is hitting the tee shot on 1 tomorrow. So assuming GIR, he will have 6 birdie putts compared to Burns 12

Don't forget to add Thomas to that group. And probably Clark as well.

Forgive me if I’m not clutching pearls over Scotty Scheffler’s game.

I have no clue. They might be off their game.

kiawah is an obvious call.

Apparently Kiawah doesn’t have the ability to host the amount of people that are there from the Ryder Cup based on how much the event has grown.

I’m tempted to go to Bethpage in 25, but that’s going to be a complete shite show

In fourball, I agree. Putting Burns in foursomes is a bold move though. Weakest approach play on the US team and bottom 3 off the tee. He has to putt tomorrow or that match could get ugly.

Here’s a neat Golfweek article about that Ryder Cup

I need to find some extended highlights of that week

As soon as I saw that spreadsheet you posted, I knew it set up perfectly for the Scheffler/Burns pairing. Burns has been terrible with his approaches most of the year, and Scheffler’s recent putting woes are well documented. However, the sequence of holes neutralizes their weaknesses, and plays into their strengths as a team.
