All of the European LIV guys are well past their prime.

There are a few American LIV players who are still on top of their game.
Bryson and brooks. They took 1 of them and chose jt/burns over the other

The Captain didn’t require that any of the players on the team play the Italian Open course which is the host venue
zach johnson was a bum pick for captain.

Pro golfers don’t want to go to Europe and back twice and the end of their season.
Maybe that’s why you are seeing each side beat the shite out of the other when they play at home now
2012 is the last time it’s been competitive. Both sides have been getting their asses kicked when playing away
Some people try to make things get more convoluted than it needs to be. Both sides kick arse at home. Both sides get arse kicked on road, yet people are trying to act like one side or the other “has it figured out” right now

What a shitty job by our Captain 61/2 to 1 1/2

Thinking the captain is the reason for any of this is always so funny to me

The captain makes the picks. The Captain is responsible for putting some fire in the team. The Captain could have taken them over last week and played a few other course or done extra practice rounds. The captain chooses the pairings. The US team has an OWGR average of 12.9. The Euros OWGR average is 29.3. On paper we have the better players by far.

I don’t want to get up early on Monday mornings and go to work. But if I want to be success I have to.

I think Tiger is 4-2-2 in singles.

On paper it’s unbelievably even this year. Would be completely ignorant to say we have an advantage by far
So in 2021 stricker was a genius and Harrington an idiot and now Johnson is an idiot and Donald a genius even though they are both suing the exact same process as the ones before them?

I always forget his name but what the hell has happened to the guy’s voice who is doing the interviews?
He can barely speak at times and it’s very off putting.

Statistically it is not even as indicated by OWGR. Also this morsel …
quote:
If you go even deeper than the world rankings, the numbers suggest the U.S. should have a sizable advantage. The 12 U.S. players have won a combined 85 times on the PGA Tour, which players from both sides would agree is the most competitive tour in the world. European team members have won 59 times on the PGA Tour; McIlroy has 24 of those victories.

Too many no names and washed up golfers on this American squad
