America could've used D.J. and Bryson as opposed to a couple of the no names.

Oh well, gonna love to see Brandel melt.

Just a complete choke job in the last 45 minutes. Even with how horrible this morning went, should’ve ended today down 5-3…

Even if you want to give Rahm credit for his eagle and not blame Scottie/Brooks, it should still be 4 1/2-2 1/2

Which no names?

There were realistically two captains picks this year

Burns and JT. One played great today one played bad

Us performance

JT- great
Scheffler-good
Homa-good
Clark-average
Spieth-bad(would have actually been good but 13-18 was such an absolute disaster)
Harmon-very bad
Burns-very bad
Brooks-below average
Cantlay-below average
Fowler-bad
Xander-below average
Morikowa-bad

People always want to blame the captain, but some of the auto picks and no brainer “captain picks” played bad

Gotta think Rahm played better today than anyone in RC history.

This morning he was on fire

He was carried early in the afternoon match until the end. Rahm had zero birdies until 16

They gotta be within 4 come Sunday. 8-4 is still a realistic finish for them in Sunday.

Eh, Tiger got boned by his pairing A LOT. He is 4-2-2 in singles matches all-time in the Ryder Cup.

It’s a shame Clark ended the way he did. He had 5 birdies on his own ball today. That was more than any player besides Fitzpatrick

The team without LIV guys had the largest day 1 lead ever

The team that decided to take LIV players had the largest day 1 deficit ever

Funny, it was the American captain who spent the last month acting like LIV plays on junior courses and not even with his time to pay attention to.

The European captain literally didn’t think about LIV at all doesn’t seem to really seem to be mattering much does it? Brining it up not realizing Europe took none of their liv players while America actually did take one makes someone look really ignorant

All of the European LIV guys are well past their prime.

There are a few American LIV players who are still on top of their game.

The Captain didn’t require that any of the players on the team play the Italian Open course which is the host venue. The Euros captain did.
The RC team minus Brooks hasn’t played competitive golf since August

Three of the US players didn’t even go to the practice sessions.

Great results, shitty leadership, and those three LIV players would have shown up instead we have this shitty result. The infighting is rumored to have already started on the US team so I expect these results to continue this weekend.
