Home game for Merica. BS that Captain America isnt a part of it. Cant wait for the Bryson Brooksy locker room fight.

Fans in Wisconsin should be nice and drunk. Weather looks to be great.

Sunday Singles

Who picked a European style links course, to host a Ryder Cup on American soil?
Stupid decision that will probably end up biting them in their arse.

No, but here is an excerpt from Golf magazine.
"More than 1,000 bunkers, Irish-style rough, and a collection of hideously awkward recovery shots await,.
Sounds pretty close to a links course.

I'm just saying the American team should pick an American style parkland type course. The kind a majority, most likely, all of the players grew up playing.

Everything I've read and heard in podcasts is that this will favor the Americans. It's not going to play like a links course. Shots will be played in the air, not along the ground. The rough will be low, and it will be a bomber's paradise, which favors the Americans.

The Europeans really narrowed the fairways grew up the rough. To their advantage. And we did in fact play like shite.

This would have been a great year to have this in Europe and have Bryson deal with those fans over there.

This isn't a traditional links course. It's a Pete Dye track with fescue rough and will largely play like the courses these guys play on tour instead of something like Winged Foot or Olympic -- which I assume is the type of "American" course that you want.

They have shortened some of the longer holes and cut the rough way down in the fairways and way up around the greens in areas that would traditionally be awkward landing areas. It will be a bomber’s paradise. Hazeltine was the blueprint and I doubt they stray from it.

It doesn't matter what I want. I just want the Americans to win, and I don't think this particular course gives them the best chance to do so. I hope I'm wrong.

How great would it be for Bryson and Brooks be paired together.
