I've been watching all this analysis with everybody talking about hitting low irons off the tee because of the wind... If ESPN does anything correct with their coverage I hope they have some awesome camera work showing trajectories and ball flight.

I absolutely hate when they switch to following the ball in the sky with no relation to the target. It's pointless. It adds absolutely nothing to the broadcast.

Thats crazy. At the beginning of the week, they were saying you needed to hit a bit higher than normal because of all the bunkers in fairways and in front greens and also the softness of the course.

Yeah now the general consensus is there won't be a ton of driver use. It's going to be fairly interesting to see different strategies.

8 mph wind ain't shite. That is the mininmum wind I play in all the time. This spring it was 20 consistently. AND WE LIKED IT!

I'm not the weather analyst here. I'm just relaying what the golf channel people said all day. Maybe they should bring in a meteorologist and get his take instead of Feherty and his pals.
