Why in the world would you use the same reduction rate on a shorter putt that breaks 3 times that much?
You realize 3% of break from five feet is still inside the hole, correct?

Not all putts that are greater than 3% slope have the same make %.
You’re taking very basic data and trying to apply it to a putt that falls outside of its range.
You think a 10 foot putt that breaks 2.5 feet has the same make percentage as one that breaks 6-8 inches?

So some of the more difficult putts have a lower make % than what falls out as standard.
