Has anyone been lucky enough to catch this goober Johnson Wagner doing live demos of these greens and hitting shots around them?

This is the best TV I’ve ever seen.

When they went back to the booth Brandel and Paul McGinley were struggling to keep it together after watching Johnson’s performance

They kept the bit going for quite some time and the whole thing rivaled a great Inside the NBA moment.

It's kind of jarring comparing Bryson then to Bryson now.

Bryson then to Bryson

Best thing happen to Bryson is him going on YouTube. He’s actually a pretty cool guy. Love it when he collaborates with Good Good, Micah and Grant. Plus his content on his channel is great. Watching him shoot even par playing cheap Walmart kids clubs is impressive.

If you didn’t catch it at the PGA, he hit a dead shank and developed the yips on consecutive nights live on tv. I seem to remember him also catching a chip fat into the grain and it going like 6 inches.

He used to do these segments and it was fairly interesting because he would kind talk through the process and could hit the shots, but now I guess he just doesn’t practice, or give a frick, anymore and wings it. It’s hilarious.

Cosmo you can’t be this bad

Tonight he was explaining how it’s a 50/50 shot at a good/bad lie if you catch this false front.

1st toss: Lands perfectly pin high and stops.
2nd toss: Just throws it at the native area and it stops short.
3rd toss: He walks over and rolls it in there and says “oh, I got lucky and we’re blessed with a great lie. This sand is pretty firm and really fun to play out off.”

Proceeds to skull it 60 yards over the green saying, “oh my.”

Then as he walked to his next shot he says “that’s just in the back there in a great chipping location.”

The segment lasted another 5+ minutes as he labored around breathing heavily into the mic. When they sent it back to the booth they were in tears

Those videos have done wonders for his reputation.

He’s done plenty in the past to deserve his crappy reputation, but he’s also done a lot lately to show he’s put that behind him, and his YouTube videos are evidence he’s turned a corner.

Probably the most boring major ever

Yep, I was there for the final round. Yep it was boring as heck. Bit cool seeing all the players live. Many are taller than you expect.

Played #2 before the tournament. Shot a 96. Tipsy and high. I was cool with that score.
