All I’m seeing is guy’s try to fit approach shots between pins and bunkers when they KNOW they can’t do that(IM) or whatever the shite we just saw with this Rory group.
Nobody thought to be short of the green and pitch up? Nobody thought it would be a bad idea to run a 3 wood up the left of that green? Xander couldn’t carry his first attempt pin high like he did the 2nd?
Scottie had an embarrassingly bad shot from that sand, idc how tough that green is. His next shot was him saying frick it.
There is PLENTY area to land and hold these greens. Are they scared of 25 foot putts? Xander and Scottie had easy pars by simply hitting the big arse 6th green.
I know there are very delicate spots but they’re playing like morons out there and absolutely refusing to play for par.

I love the Masters for obvious reasons, but the US Open is always my favorite watch. I LOVE watching these guys act like I do on the course

They need to learn you can not pin seek today…got to play safe. Today is about survival…not to go low like a normal PGA weekend.
