I picture Rory having a shite ton of wedges into tricky greens this week

So, hold your butts if you’re a Rory fan

Shouldnt be a ton of wedges, apparently the course doesn’t really setup for scrambling to be important, because if you are just off the green you are fricked without options besides pitching to the center of the green

You could be right

Just seems like he’s gonna get a shite ton of roll out here and there are corners he can cut with ease to set up wedges

90 yard par 3, #6 is a wedge all day, etc

Rickie said if they play the par 3 at 80 yards or less he is laying up short, and I think he was serious

Apparently the pin placement if they put it at 80 or in is at a dinner plate size portion of the green where only short isn’t dead

He was also the 3rd round leader at Riveria two years ago. Different LA course

Oh, Max Homa won that tournament.

No need to print the shirts, just realize that person made a bonehead comment

See #5 on the list? He was back to back champ there. It isn’t a “hard course thing” for him.

He also won Colonial, which is considered a difficult course

Mickelson is looking really good this week in practice. It would not surprise me if he made a run.

My favorites to win:

Brooks Koepka
Scottie Scheffler
Viktor Hovland
Jon Rahm
Dustin Johnson
Jordan Spieth

Darkhorse:

Collin Morikawa - He has been too quiet lately...i think he is ready to break out and make some noise!!

Give me that leaderboard on Sunday!!

I’ve had the Golf Channel on for 20 minutes and I’m already tired of hearing about Max Homa.

This course is now on steroids. Everyone will be playing Links golf by the weekend.
