Not watching at the moment, but they said when they came on that was the featured group.
Regardless of whether or not they make the cut, people would rather watch them struggle around the course than Poulter, Charles Howell III and Paul Casey or any of the other garbage groupings. This is what happens when you have a 3-4 super groups

I’ve been to a tournament and all these people saying they want to see steady coverage of Paul Casey and Charlie Hoffman are full of it.

Again, they are the featured group. I’m not sure what’s hard to understand about that.
Golf on TV is about ratings. People tune in to watch McIlroy, Spieth, Mickelson, not Poulter Casey, and Charles Howell III

I'm hearing more yelling at the players than I hear in person at tournaments.
I can't recall anything specific today and yesterday, but tons of stuff like, "OF COURSE!!!" when someone hits a poor shot.
Don't usually hear TOO much straight up heckling.

I feel like the PGA at Baltusrol was pretty bad a few years back (notice a common theme) but yeah this is rough
