I’ve experienced a Rose Bowl Parade and Rose Bowl Game in person 2002-2003 Sooners vs. Washington State. The atmosphere cannot be matched, especially ringing in a New Year!
Random Fact:
The worst record ever going into a Rose Bowl Game is the 1983 UCLA Bruins. Started the season 0-3-1. First four opponents were:
#15 Georgia: finished 10-1-1
Arizona State: finished 6-4-1
#1 Nebraska: finished 12-1
Brigham Young: finished 11-1
Bruins went 6-1-1 in conference and would blowout #4 Illinois 10-2, (9-0) in the Rose Bowl Game, 45-9, finishing year 7-4-1.
