I had no idea what the reference was all about either until Google told me. I don't read the same internet that everyone else does. And once I knew what the reference was about, I thought Al's joke was funny.

And what he said was tame in comparison to a comedian. People need to lighten the frick up.

And it's sad that we have to laugh "awkwardly" at something that is actually pretty funny...and a joke that every single one of us would say in front of our friends. Unfortunately, Al had a microphone and a few million people watching. 30 years ago, we laugh it off and move on.

A thousand times this.

I'm just saying it was a dumb comparison.

It was a dumb joke that was kinda funny but also inappropriate given the timing and setting. Now we get over the top outrage and with a reaction of over the top outrage about the outrage.

It was an inappropriate joke, he apologized, now lets all move on.

He probably only apologized because in his industry full of libs, it's frowned upon to make jokes at the expense of anyone but Trump.

Sigh. It's sad how sensitive people are these days and the lack of senses of humor. It was a joke in poor taste which he later apologized for. Unimportant in the grand scheme of life. Can we just move on and go about our lives now?

"I mean, let's face it. The Giants are coming off a worse week than Harvey Weinstein and they're up 14 points"

That's the comment that has people losing their minds?
