If I was one of Magee’s teammates I’d be straight up pissed at him right now. He played selfish the entire game

They should stop firing off contested wild 3’s vs teams with elite length. He went 0-9 vs Kansas and now 0-12 vs UK.
Sometimes you have to understand your opponent and alter your approach. With so much focus on him he could have really created for others rather than jacking up impossible 3’s

Even shooters have to learn to give it up at certain points, especially when they’re not going in. You’re a shooter but you’re a god damn basketball player first. Give up the rock when they’re draping you to someone else

I hate UK and almost every time would pull for the mid major against them but I just couldnt bring myself to pull for Wofford after the shite they pulled in the Southern Conference tourney vs. ETSU and UNC Greensboro
Calipari was talking about how they practiced for Wofford's kicking their feet out on 3 pointers to draw foul shenanigans and looks like Wofford only was able to get Kentucky to fall for it once

Wofford Coach at half said he wanted McGee to keep shooting knowing he would get it going eventually

Magee just doesn't show up against good competition (whether it's mental or the better athletes/defense is just too much for him).

Good teams and players alter plans and adapt. Wofford didn’t. They live and die by the sword. That’s cool but also can get you beat rather easily in the tourney
