He did have George Pickens and Dionte Johnson - a solid #1 and 2.
Pickens would miss blatantly open receivers entirely too often for someone who could have been decent starting QB, even when the Oline was doing their job.

Crossed paths with Terry while he was at La. Tech. He showed up at a postgame frat party after the Northwestern game in Shreveport, a big rivalry game back then. He had a 10+ blonde under one arm, a 10+ brunette under the other & a bottle of Rebel Yell in each hand. A friend sat next to him on a 4 hour flite during his tv broadcasting days & found him to just be a good ol' country boy, just like his tv persona.
