Dimitrov just started against some Canadian wildcard. Shapo finishes after that. I see him at like +225 right now. Not the world's worst bet. The match was so typical Shapo last night. Some brilliant shotmaking, getting the crowd pumped up, but spraying two bad errors per game.

You got any info/data/rumors on the Montreal court speed? I watched the Rafa/Med final from 2019 and it looked to be on the slower side.
I have Norrie winning the 2nd quarter at +550 but haven't played any individual matches yet.
Emma sucks at tennis but I hope she sticks around a while.
ETA: Ramos beating Goffin is a decent indicator of the court speed. So is Fritz obliterating Murray.

I saw some sparse data that Montreal was right with Cincy in 2015 and 2017 in terms of court speed.
Seeing Nick at about +170 right now against Medvedev. Unfortunately, the match is in a couple of hours, so I may miss it. But, I understand that they need to have guys who played late last night play tonight.

Medvedev is the favorite to win this Canadian Open and the US Open major that starts later this month.
Today’s match against Nick will be a great measuring stick. Kyrgios had the third best odds to win the Canadian Open behind Medvedev and Alcaraz when I looked yesterday, and just checked the US Open odds and he has the third best odds of winning that major too behind Medvedev and Alcaraz (if Nadal isn’t playing).
Tough draw for Medvedev having to play Nick this early.

Had to nibble on NK +180
Posted on 8/10/22 at 12:47 pm to bayoucracka
I nearly went with that but thought this was even better value. I bet NK to win exactly 1 set at +280.
The bet was Medvedev to win 2 sets to 1. Looking forward to this one.

Kyrgios vs Medvedev—scintillating 2nd round matchup here. Both guys holding serve with ease early on.

Days like this when he’s on prove Kyrgios could be #1 in the world if he wasn’t such a headcase

Nick breaks to take lead in the first game set 2.

Had 2 set points on return in the 1st set too.
ETA: Well one of us is cashing a bet today.

Nick’s first serve percentage has come way down since the first set. He has still managed to not give up a break — although last game was dicey.

I’d bet this set ends in a tiebreaker as well
Eta or not! Kyrgios should close this game out now with his serve. Hasn’t been broken all day.

Double break to Kyrgios. Very solid effort here.

Nice win. Tough draw, he gets Demon or Grigs tomorrow.

Really? I could see a few oldies think he's a punk, but even my geriatric parents like him. Must be bitter Fedtards and Nadal fanboys.
