God, the sports world sucks right now. I'm excited to see the freakshow that Stephen Ross hosts in Miami this year. That tournament needs to get some mojo back from Indian Wells. Congrats to Rafa and Xisca.

February tennis is a bit of a wasteland. No doubt about that.

But on the bright side, the basketVOLS are still #1. So that's pretty awesome....at least for me.

True dat.

Speaking of Rafa: I get that's he's humble and all that, but this statement is just downright absurd.

Rafa believes his french open record will be matched one day

Balderdash. If there is still such a thing as the French Open 100 years from now, I am confident that Rafa will still have the record for most wins, and by a comfortable margin.

I think Rafa should focus on finding Nole a new mistress.

ETA: perhaps invite him to his wedding and have a "ringer" in Xisca's wedding party whose sole purpose is to seduce Nole.

I need to try that while I still have some athletic ability. Gonna have to make a Big Bear trip one day.

That one is on my list. Jackson Hole is at the very top of my list, but it's just sooooo much easier logistically to do Utah or Colorado, so that's where I always end up. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I do wanna hit Jackson Hole. There's a famous run called Corbet's Couloir where you basically gotta jump off a 20 foot cliff to get on the run. I need to hit while I'm still athletic and not old and riddled with fear. I mean, to be clear, I will still be massively riddled with fear...but I know that I'm a better skier than many many people who have done it, and so I'm determined to do it. But of course I gotta get there first.

Here's the run in question:

Pics from my initial post are from Keystone. Also hit Breckenridge one day. Also purchased and partook in various forms of completely legal THC goodies. Hey, when in Rome.

Have you ever skied or snowboarded before?

If not, be aware of different learning curves. Snowboarding is a miserable miserable experience the first day. arse, neck, head, wrists....all will hurt by the end of the day. The second day is rough as well. But then by the third day, you'll kind of have it figured out. Fundamentally it's easier than skiing. Toe edge, heel edge...that's it.

Skiing isn't as much of a nightmare the first day, but it takes years to get legit good....like me #humblelikefederer
