Kick 6 was certainly rough, I'd put the camback in there too.

UCLA's coach was an idiot because he thought the humidity in south FL wouldn't be a problem in December.

The guy who wrote this must be about 16. The oldest thing was 2003 I think.

This guy ignores 130 years of CFB history.

I feel like it’s objectively 2nd and 26 but I am somewhat personally invested in its depressive qualities.

Yeah I don’t get how UGA’s loss to Auburn makes the list. The loss, other than the way it happened, didn’t really move the needle. They were already a three loss team before that game and had no chance of winning the division. I certainly think that you could include the 2012 SEC title game and the 2002 cocktail party for UGA. Both losses cost them a spot in the National Championship game.
One hundred percent.

2012 SEC Title games just sad. With Murray and Richt always given crap for not winning anything. Playing Bama in the midst of a dynasty when nearly every other blue blood SEC team had a National Title. Wasn’t given a chance going into it. Richt dealing with 10 years of National Relevance but not getting over the hump. Only to lose in one of the most heartbreaking ways imaginable.

I was 19 and I was pretty messed up for a while.

2012 LSU Bama. Enough said. Great rally by LSU only to lose in final seconds. Stadium was rocking.

1998 undefeated UCLA loses to Miami. This was a game rescheduled due to a hurricane. Last game of season. Miami wins 49-45 behind 299 yards from Edgerrin. Closest UCLA ever got to a national championship.

1998 A&M beats undefeated Kansas St in Big 12 title game. Loses a chance at a national championship. Have never gotten close again.

I would think A&M losing 77-0 to OU would be pretty depressing
no more depressing than any other school who gets their arse kicked in a game

Yeah, but 77-0 wasn't even that close. That was the score after the 3rd quarter and Oklahoma laid down at the goal line a couple times in the 4th quarter to avoid scoring more.

what was more depressing, 21-0 or bama beating yall 55-17? at a certain point an arse kicking is just an arse kicking even when accepting that our game against OU is in its own universe. id rather have a bad team get absolutely wrecked as opposed to a legit great team lose in an embarrassing way in a game for a title

Number 8 wasn't as depressing to me as when we lost to UT on a hail Mary after completing our own hail Mary.

5. THE BUSH PUSH

This is on the list because the broadcasters announced that Notre Dame had won as the clock operator kept winding the clock...

Charlie Weiss raised his hands in fifty and walked to the middle of the field while ND students rushed the field...only to be to told to get back to your seats.

While Weiss was slowly walking back to the sidelines, Leonard snuck it in and USC won and the entire State was like, wait what just happened?

2006 Rose Bowl should be on the list as USC was seconds away from doing what nobody had ever done. Win 3 straight Natty's in a row. Stop VY on that final scramble and they are the be all of end all.

Most of these other games are teams that get to big games occasionally. That one just served to tell A&M how far they were from that level

Just another bad loss in a terrible season that was A&M's worst team in decades, and only the '08 one has been close to being that bad since. OU wanted payback from losing their national title hopes the previous year in College Station and A&M "running up the score" on an awful Baylor team earlier in the '03 season.

A&M has the biggest win over OU in Norman, 51-7, and they beat the piss out of them last time they met in the Cotton Bowl despite calling off the dogs.

4. CLEMSON BEATS ALABAMA AT THE BUZZER

If the call the offensive pass interference screen that the taters ran all night a penalty like it’s suppose to be then Alabama has that game wrapped up by halftime.

he way Ohio State got taken to overtime by Miami was worse than them both. WR was blatantly held on 3rd down AND the receiver clearly had a knee in bounds with possession.

Bruh y’all were only in the game because of the refs and the shite y’all pulled on McGahee.

Texas vs tech. frick you blake gideon. He makes the INT and the crabtree play never happens. We go on to play Florida for it all.

2009 bcs natty. When colt went down it was all over. Bama gashed us.

2007 West Virginia/Pitt would be up there for me. I can't imagine how I would feel if Ole Miss was undefeated, going to a natty and then a 5 win Mississippi State team beat them in Oxford.

That's what happened in that game.
