What did you expect when they opened up all Sports Betting.
Alabama fired their baseball coach last season for such. You think he is the only one?
Two billion dollars is expected to
to be bet on the NCAA Tournament.
Money Talks! That can buy a lot of Coaches, Referees, or add to NIL payout.

Sports betting attracts people who like sports(others too)... the point being most athletes sport's junkies with a lot of time on their hands... they are swamped with the same ads for sports betting as the general public... ain't no way a good bit not placing bets or participating... the professional leagues pay generational wealth so it's less likely to happen... college different a very small percent ever going professional

They shoot the most 3s in the nation with a below average % from 3.

The teams they have beaten have just shot poorly over their 4 game win streak.

I mean it’s not like they’re beating the class of the conference

This is the funniest story in CBB right now

Would be hilarious if they make the tournament while being accused of game-fixing. Good look for the NCAA

are you implying that's when it started or really affected the corruption at all?

Stop the investigation. The Owls are putting that thing to sleep.

"Coach, how do you explain your team's remarkable turnaround in the post season?"

"Well, for one, we just started gelling as a team. For another, we quit shaving points. Not sure which had the greatest impact."

The Alabama baseball coach is a fricking moron. Not enough betting on college baseball to be worth the risk.

Most point shaving or other corruption generally involves basketball due to ease of pulling it off with a few select players as well as the betting action on the sport as a whole.

This is where that animated gif of Bill sinking the quaalude from 3 would be appropriate.
