Right. Which is why some of "the smartest people" also have "absurdly low scores" right?

Which comment by Head Coach?
You responded to MY comment, claiming that I wad "race baiting", when in fact I was responding to a post that was, in fact, race baiting.

Tebow put up Akili Smith level stats.
Why does he have so many fan boys?
Read the article in the OP. NFL scouts don't like him because he can't play the position. Those people whom you label as "haters" agree with them.
I believe that Akili Smith lacks the accuracy and mental acumen to be an NFL QB. Does that mean that I hate the dude? Of course not.
The same applies to Tebow.

Yes they changed the offense to cater to those 3 qbs but they all have exponentially better ability to eventually lead their teams by passing first. Hell Wilson is already there and kaepernick is close.
Like many others have said, tebow has trouble throwing an accurate curl to single coverage. If not for his college mystique, and hype he would have never started a game in the nfl, shite he may have never been a 3rd stringer.

read the article, look at his stats, and most importantly, watch him trying to play the qb position. it's cringeworthy at times.

Theres also something about Tebow being black and creating a rooney rule for him

I don't know why everyone hates on the dude. He lead a Bronco team to a playoff win when had they stayed with Orton they might have won 3 games all year.
Meh

You're referring to this comment, right?

If Tebow were black, they would make a Rooney rule for black QB's that you had to draft one first, start him an entire season before you drafted another QB.
No, this one. Now that I am back at a computer and not on the phone.

Such a conundrum. If Tebow was black would TD hate him more, or be scared to talk about him?
The quote you posted was a response to this.
Tebow's fame has nothig to do with his race. It's the fact he was an awesome football player (with questionable QB skills) and in part due to his faith which he is quite outspoken about.
I'm guessing much of the hate is due to the latter as well.
He was a helluva football player but never going to be a QB. Vince Young may be a better comparison than Akili Smith. He had a lot of people pulling for him for a variety of reasons. I wish he had done better, loved watching him play in college but he's just not good enough at that level.

His defenses deserves a lot of the credit for those wins, sure. He still made the plays when it mattered though.
one guy who hardly ever got credit in that stretch was the kicker, Matt Prater.
the guy had like 3 game winning field goals. He was hitting some insane kicks when they beat the Bears. Go look it up, its crazy man.

Not only that he was kicking 4 field goals a game.. Tebow was a great college QB but his game doesn't translate to the nfl.
I can't name a QB in the leauge that a coach would put Tebow ahead of. The only time his name comes up is when the guy in front is blowing.

I mean, the special teams element was just so overlooked in that run the Broncos had.
then again, special teams are usually left out in the cold in this knee jerk reaction fiasco that has seemed to overtake the sport. I blame the media really, they usually just want to talk about how good or bad the quarterback played and what coaching decisions led to a win or a loss. No real discussion about defense or special teams really. Most media have that fantasy football mentality these days and talk to the audience like we're a bunch of jag offs.

game didn't matter? that's a terrible excuse

why people can't differentiate between objective football opinions and opinions of him as a person is beyond me.

Stats and 32 NFL teams show that he sucks as an NFL qb but for some reason has an insane fan club that will find every excuse to show that "it's not his fault" or "he's just a victim of the media". I don't hate him but it's ridiculous to see people knighting for the guy's skills when he obviously isn't a good qb.

I posted so many stats to show how bad he is, but some people just won't accept it

what a stubborn idiot..play fullback, or at least try to play tight end..(I'm pretty fricking sure he can't catch worth a damn..but it is worth a shot)

I actually had a dream recently that I hired Tebow to cut my grass since he's got no job. He did a good job for $30.
