Not ti mention hes not ecactly on the same playing field as the other QBs in the league that year
They had one of the best rushing attacks in the league and a very limited QB so he was facing 8-9 man boxes and barely completing 50 percent
Thats pathetic

What about all the Christians who lost in the path of Tebow?
Marion Barber had that critical mistake in the bears broncos game. Someone on here said his entire twitter feed was all related to Christianity.

Such a conundrum. If Tebow was black would TD hate him more, or be scared to talk about him?

I know, right? like god favored Tebow over someone else equally as faithful?

Are you kidding? He would be reviled.
Look at how Chris Paul was treated... and he is someone who can actually play his position... he was blasted after someone said that they heard that he said something.

If Tebow were black, they would make a Rooney rule for black QB's that you had to draft one first, start him an entire season before you drafted another QB.

You mean like if Tebow were, saw, Akili Smith?
Oh, wait. Their stats are somewhat similar.
Funny, Cincinnati wasn't forced to draft another black qb and no one said that Smith got screwed because he was black. Instead, they acknowledged that he sucked, and moved on.
No media circus. No bullshite.

No one hated on Akili Smith like many do Tebow. Race bait fail.

I don't know how this became a "if tebow was black thing" but I refuse to get into the ridiculousness
Posted on 5/31/13 at 8:33 pm to wildtigercat93
But I will post this

That's the point.
Smith, like Tebow, was a terrible QB. No one hated on him, but at the same time, NO ONE MADE EXCUSES FOR HIM OR PRAISED HIM DESPITE HIS SUCKING.
If Tebow's fans didn't exist, nor would his "haters".

I'm not shocked some extremely insecure and possibly envious person would throw in the race card

You're referring to this comment, right?

that's just a ridiculous statement
Posted on 5/31/13 at 9:13 pm to RogerTheShrubber
I didn't make the race comment...
But apparently, it's a TD.com rule that if a black poster responds to a racially charged post, he is 'race baiting'...

Head coach's comment. That reply you linked was as bad though

I don't know why everyone hates on the dude. He lead a Bronco team to a playoff win when had they stayed with Orton they might have won 3 games all year.
Then they ship him off to the Jets who only put him for two plays at a time the entire year.
It's just funny how everyone rags on the guy for not being a good "NFL QB" from the pocket and then praise people like RG3, Russ Wilson, and Kapernick for "revolutionizing the game." Disclaimer: Im aware they have much better passing skills, my point being those teams actually committed to them. They changed their entire offense to give those guys chances to play to their strengths. Tebow dd everything he was asked to do and more and still gets shite on constantly on these boards.
