While YOU may not see the Trashtros asterisk, the rest of us fans see it. No one respects their championship. It's literally why any athlete plays the game. To win and earn respect. If you cheat, you've just defrauded the whole process.

I'll never understand why every person involved wasn't banned for life from the game. MLB has no backbone when it needs it.

The Astros cheated EVERYONE. It's like the entire season was for absolute nothing.

They turned that year into a complete waste of everyone's fricking time.

Everything about this post was pathetic. Every word.

The whole post was quite the melt, but I'll just address this part.

The MLB has to work hand in hand with their players union. My guess is MLB knew other clubs were doing similar things and didn't want that to get out and become another league wide steroid scandal, so they cut a deal with Astros players AND the union to come clean and it'd stop right there.

If they would have "banished" everyone involved there likely would have been some unsavory things aired out that MLB wouldn't be too keen on.

Did you melt this hard when the news came out that the Yankees and Red Sox were cheating in similar ways during the same period?

Oh and the Astros got this idea from...*checks notes*....the Yankees?

Spare us the moral outrage, bro.

That guy is a royals fan so I’m sure why he’d be partial to AL East teams

The won game 7 in LA, 2019 lost all 4 home games in the WS, the idea that they were a 70 win team incapable of winning but for “cheating” is just cope by other fans.

The Cards imploded because they were mentally weak.

This is true, though. They caved after that bad call.

Just like the RedSox the following year. There was still a game 7 to play, but they were finished after game 6.

I find that in general teams and player don't stew after bad breaks like they used to.

The Astros will be back. I don’t see many organizations firing a GM even when he makes the playoffs. They even fired a GM after winning a World Series. They are built different and Crane will get them back to the top.

No because every “championship” they won they cheated for. No dynasty, no legit championships. Back to poverty with them!
