That's my point, if they re-did that draft Welker would be a 1st rounder.

With his smaller size and superb speed, he's gonna be great out of the slot which has proven to be a big part of the NFL recently.

Let's compare 2 WR:

1 is 6'0
1 is 5'8

both ran a 4.34 at the combine

One did 17 reps on the bench, the other did 10

1 is over 200 lbs
1 is under 180 lbs

1 was on a team that went 11-2
1 was on a team that went 7-6

Who would you draft first?

Oh. I thought you were talking about a 5'9 wr getting this much hype in the draft since that's what was being talked about

What was their production?

What sort of offense were they in?

Probably the 5'-8" 180lb, 10 rep, 7-6 team guy since he is an elite player and the other guy isn't...

He probably won't be.

Looks like a legit slot WR/hyrbid RB in the mold of Harvin, Sproles. Lots of suddenness and versatility to his game.

Both were in spread option offenses that used short passes as their run game

Tavon had 11 rec for 187 yards against LSU last year against a secondary with Mo Claiborne, Tyrann Mathieu, Eric Reid, Brandon Taylor, Ron Brooks, and Tharold Simon. Unless he's just really injury prone I think he's going to develop into a top 5 slot wr in the league.

Here's his highlights from the OU game this past year LINK

Bills should draft him so he can be a bust like Roscoe Parrish

Same type of player out of da U, although Buffalo took him in the second round, which is exactly where slot WRs should go
